The rooms were non-smoking, bed was perfect, breakfast was awesome. Historic style hotel with comfortable furniture in the rooms. An amazing beach, amazing view.

Big suite and comfortable bed. Walking distance to the secluded beach. Also, its 2 miles away from Carlsbad Premium Outlets. There's swimming pool.
There is bad smell in some places.

Wonderful base for a 1-night stay. Plenty of extra supplies: a coffeemaker, a writing table and ironing facilities. Having a shower and a hairdryer was a bonus. There are some restaurants in this area like Sushi Kuchi within 5 minutes' walk: )

We loved the location, which was CONVENIENT. A huge variety restaurants to eat close by, like Benihana that was only 5 minutes' walk away. Nice base for a weekend in Carlsbad.
